Image Abdelkrim Amirat received his Engineer and Master degrees in Computer Sciences at the University of Badji Mokhtar, Annaba, Algeria. Until October 2006, he is associate Professor at the University of Annaba. His research interests include Aspect Oriented Software Development, Requirement Engineering, Software Architecture, Software Reuse, Component-Based Software Development, Aspect Oriented Software Architecture. Actually he is invited researcher for 2 years with MODAL Group by the Laboratory of LINA, University of Nantes-France.

 

 

 

Image Ilija Basicevic received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia,  in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering at the same faculty. His research interests are communication protocols and software architectures of communications systems and computer security. He is involved in design and implementation of multimedia communications systems based on SIP and H.323.

 

 

 

 

Image Yujian Fu is an assistant professor of Department of Computer Science at Alabama A&M University. She received her PhD degree in the Department of Computing and Information Science at Florida International University. Her research work focuses on the software quality assurance in the design and implementation using formal methods, Object oriented program verification, service oriented application and analysis, etc. Supported by NSF grant, her PhD research work has resulted 15 publications in several accredited conferences. One of her papers was nominated as best paper in the International Conference of Web Engineering 2006. Yujian has served as peer reviewer for several journals and accredited conferences: IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, the Computer Journal, International Conference on Applications and Theory of Petri Nets, International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, International Conference on Quality Software, International Conference on Information Reuse and Integration, International Conference on Web Service. Her current research interests are software architecture, formal methods, software verification & validation, runtime verification, software reuse, and service oriented architecture.

 

 

Image Chandra Sekaran Kandasamy is a Professor of Computer Engineering at National  Institute of Technology Karnataka, India. His research includes Computer  Networks, Dependable Network / Distributed computing, Autonomic computing and  Community Informatics. He has 20 years of teaching and research and one year Industry experience. He has published more than 86 publications in International  and National proceedings and authored two books, three book chapters. He was the Organizing Chair of 14th International Conference ADCOM 2006,  International Symposium on Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing ISAHUC'06. He also serverd as a member of PC in various International conferences, reviewer in many Journals. he has supervised sponsored projects and IT consultant to some corporates in this region of India.

Image Vikram Sorathia currently is a PhD Candidate at Dhirubhai Ambani Instituteof Information and Communication Technology(DA-IICT).  His currentresearch is focused towards enhancing Situation Awareness capabilities of Information Systems. The multi disciplinary approach adopted for researchspans across areas of  Knowledge Representation, Organization Behavior,Software Engineering and distributed computing. Through his publicationshe has demonstrated familiarity with research topics like Web services,Grid computing, Distributed Event Based Systems, Semantic Web, InformationSystems Theory, Software Architecture, Data warehouse and Geoinformatics.During his candidacy of five years, he has been working as a TeachingAssistant in various courses offered at graduate and post graduate level.As a senior student he has also actively participated in  various academicprojects with different capacities. He is a student member of the ACM,IEEE and AIS and Life Member of IIRS and ISG. He has three years of prior experience in research related to environmental planning andgeo-informatics.

 

ImageStefan Van Baelen received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the K.U.Leuven, Belgium, and is now a Research Scientist at the DistriNet Research group of the K.U.Leuven Department of Computer Science. His research is focussed on Software Engineering aspects for real-time embedded software systems, including domain modeling, requirments engineering, software analysis and design, model-based development, software architectures, software development processes, object-, component-, and aspect-oriented software development, software reuse, and software evolution. He participated in many industrial-focussed research projects on an international level (a.o., DESS, EMPRESS, AGILE, MARTES and SPICES), and was work package and task leader in a number of European EUREKA-ITEA projects. He has been a referee for Communications of the ACM and for the Dutch National Science Foundation.


Image Valter Vieira de Camargo received his ph.D. degree in Software Engineering at the Institute of Mathematic Sciences and Computing (ICMC) of USP (University of São Paulo), São Carlos, Brazil (2006). His master degree also in software engineering and it was obtained at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil (2001) where he works with software reengineer and reverse engineering. Currently he teaches at the Computing Department of Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil where acts in the master degree course as professor in the software engineering area. He has a large experience in the Computer Science with emphasis in Frameworks Development at the Aspect-Oriented Programming. His research interests includes: software reuse (frameworks, design patterns, product lines), software architecture, design modeling (object-oriented and aspect-oriented), processes and aspect-oriented development in general. He conducted several talks about aspect-oriented software development, published several papers and two books chapters related to this subject. Valter also was co-chair of the 2nd. and 4 th WASP (Brazilian Workshop on Aspect-Oriented Software Development) and participates as a committee member and reviewer in some conferences.
