The International Journal of Software Architectures (http://www.ijsa.net) is looking forward to e-publish papers on the the understanding and practice of State of practice in software architecture - e.g., views from Microsoft, Netscape, JavaSoft, OMG/ODP, and the software -architecture R&D community, Architectural properties, such as What are -ilities, i.e., some property added to a system that is independent of the functionality of that system, Scaling component software architectures. Frameworks, patterns, configurations, inter component protocols, such as examples of composition involving heterogeneous data sources, Adaptively of component software architectures. Tailorability, evolvability, assured services and graceful degradation, survivability, traditional and stable software Architectures, such as product-line architectures, model-driven architectures, & traditional and stable software architectures’ languages or core knowledge maps, and any of the topics in the keywords at: http://www.ijsa.net/keywords To be responsive to the changing needs of software architectures research communities, IJSA maintains a flexible keyword system that allows the addition of new keyword groups and areas periodically. This journal is specially, devoted to the documentation, evaluation, and assessment of the topology of software architectures. The International Journal of software architectures (IJSA) is an on-line, peer-reviewed publication, published four times in the year by vrlSoft, Inc. This e journal is designed specially for the use of software designer, architects, software developer experts, software engineering researchers, practitioners, educators and software managers in the field of software development
Software architectures are immensely useful for sharing design and architectures experience of any domain knowledge, and also for describing and redefining knowledge in any other business domains. The important mission of IJSA is to provide its readers with timely, qualitative, well-written, and interesting state-of-the-art papers and special features (columns, book reviews, software reviews) that deal with every aspect of software architectures, both theoretical and practical in nature. Topics in the e journal will include the theory and practice of software architectures, architectural patterns, and architectures’ languages. The journal will also cover the knowledge maps, stable architectural patterns, and will offer case studies. The columns, both guest and regular, will be written and composed by recognized specialists and experts in the field of software architectures. The IJSA will be a quarterly journal.
We invite you to submit your papers to IJSA – www.ijsa.net. Please check the IJSA Editorial Charter at http://www.ijsa.net/editorial-charter and submit the complete manuscript through our submission and review system
http://www.ijsa.net/paper/index.html
IJSA focus is improving the software theory and practices. You will have the opportunity to refine and extend your papers with help from knowledgeable and supportive fellow software architectures’ enthusiasts and experienced editorial and domain expert boards’ members.
In addition to intensive and iterative papers’ reviews, submitters and subscribers will have many opportunities to discuss many aspects of software architectures and architectural languages through our active discussion group and subscription lists at http://www.ijsa.net/en/forum.html
The papers submitted for review should be between 10-15 pages long (around 5,000 to 6,000 words). Since the paper size is relatively small we encourage authors to submit supplement materials, such as documentation and detailed implementation of their software architectures. All submissions should identify a principal contact author by e-mail address and/or fax and/or telephone number and postal address.
We understand how much effort goes into creating papers and accordingly, we aim at a careful, fair treatment of all papers. All of us are committed to doing everything to satisfy our authors' expectations! We will work very closely with authors to get their papers to the right quality, shape, and form to be published in IJSA.
Important Due Dates
- Paper Submissions Anytime, Open Date
- Notification of acceptance 6-8 weeks from the paper submission date
- Iteration and working with authors As long as it takes
- Final Notification of Acceptance One week after finalizing the iteration
- Camera Ready Due within 10 days of final notification
We look forward to receiving your papers. Ideas and proposals for theme issues are also welcome. Authors of accepted papers will be expected to sign an IJSA copyright transfer form. http://www.ijsa.net/copyright_transfer.pdf
